About the Senior Product Designer at Proof of Learn:
You will be working on a new AI-forward native app in stealth mode. Our goal is a world where working parents and individuals have a support system and can help find balance in their day to day lives. We will be working at the intersection of experiences driven by AI and trusted human partners.

This designer is a highly collaborative, systems-thinker that designs elegant and equitable experiences for all. They generate clarifying multimodal user experiences. They help guide our members to increase balance and wellness throughout their day, week, and lifetime.
This role is a trusted partner to the Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing teams, and sits within the Product team.
How your skills and passion will come to life:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customers to develop exceptional native app designs from concept to implementation.
- Create visually stunning and user-centric designs, incorporating AI technologies to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, LLM models, and their application in product design.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, design principles, and emerging AI technologies.
- Conduct user research and apply insights to optimize app designs for enhanced user engagement and satisfaction.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless integration of AI features into the product.
- Evolve our design systems and pattern library for mobile apps and web.
- Architect, wireframe and iterate on clear user journeys along with high fidelity designs.
- Work directly with Product Managers, Operations and Engineers on implementing these in product.
- Collaborate with Copy and UX Writers to deliver delightful experiences to our mobile and web apps.
- Synthesize customer, operations, and business needs, alongside technical feasibility.
- Stay aligned with Product Management and run design sprints, get feedback from customers, stakeholders in preparation for engineering sprints.
- Be obsessed with productivity workflows for the administration and operations flow.
What you've accomplished:
- 6+ years of experience in Product Design in design consultancies working on direct to consumer products and mobile apps.
- Excellent design craft, including visual, UI, UX, and interaction skills.
- Deep curiosity and passion for solving customer problems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that generates clarity in otherwise ambiguous situations.
- Ability to think through complex system challenges that span bits and atoms.
- Expressing ideas through visuals and prototyping (We uses Figma).
- Previous experience working with AI or ML or strong desire to learn.
- A desire to clarify and simplify user experiences, alongside the ability to maintain elegant nuances in crisp, navigable UX.
- Driven to deliver quality experiences to all users, regardless of their identity, background, or demographics.
- An informed POV on what makes user experiences satisfying and supportive for users of all types, coupled with a willingness to change your mind based on new qualitative and quantitative data findings.
- A bright attention to detail. Illogical systems irk you; working on improving them energizes you!
