We are looking for a Game Economist to sit at the intersection of game design and tokenomics. You’ll be an early member of our small, but mighty team that’s poised to create a sustainable business model.
In this role you will get to:
- Create new, innovative game mechanics and token utilities within a web3 game world
- Define and refine game mechanics to drive both retention and monetization
- Assist tokenomics team with modeling and forecasting a complex economy with multiple currencies, sinks, faucets, and opportunities for monetization
- Collect and analyze engagement, retention, and monetization data, report on performance and suggest optimizations
- Work with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, and R to design reports
Who are you?
- You have at least 1 year of experience with game development
- Are passionate about understanding user behavior and user segments
- Simply put, you love games
- You think creatively about ways to make games fun and engaging
- You have superior analytical skills and an ability to mine data for insights and produce actionable recommendations
- You have prior experience building game features and economies with an emphasis on designing and tuning features that engage players and encourage monetization
- You have expertise in Excel, SQL, Tableau
- Your experience is in manipulating, summarizing, and analyzing large data sets
- You are comfortable with modeling, ability to anticipate downstream effects of proposed changes
Nice to Have...
- Experience with a web3 play-to-earn game
- Programming experience (R, Python, C#, or VBA)
- Experience with multivariate and A/B testing. Experience with data science
